ECOfox is an easy-to-install software module designed specifically for the Common-Rail Diesel Engine. For example when used on a Smart ForTwo CDi Cabrio it was proven by TÜV that there was a 12% reduction in fuel consumption and  CO₂ emissions (test was done on a rollers using a defined driving cycle).

ECOfox provides an enhanced torque range which allows the driver to upshift sooner than normal. This also has the benefit of enhancing power as needed when passing and helps reduce the need for unnecessary downshifting.
